Course Description:

PaveXpress is designed for use by local agencies, engineers, architects, and consultants who need a reliable way to quickly determine the necessary pavement thickness for a given section of roadway or project. By the end of the workshop, participants will:
-Become familiar with PaveXpress, a free, web-based app created for inspectors, engineers, students, and pavement designers that allows one to create new and overlay pavement designs using AASHTO 93/98 methodologies.
-Understand e-Construction and how using mobile technology can have a profound impact on your productivity, real-time decision making, data quality, and efficiency.
-Examine real-world case studies of mobile technology use and discuss the impact, implementation practices, and steps used to deploy within an organization.
