The SC APWA is hosting the Winter Maintenance Supervisor Certificate Workshop from APWA National in conjunction with the SC APWA Annual Conference. This is a nationally recognized certificate.

The Winter Maintenance Supervisor Certificate Workshop is for supervisors, managers and operators to:

  • Expand Knowledge Of Planning And Preparation
  • Increase Understanding Of Winter Weather
  • Better Use Traditional & Alternative Chemicals
  • Consider What Equipment Is Available & How To Maintain It
  • Enhance Communications With The Public
  • Improve Training

Resulting in more effective, efficient, equitable and environmentally-friendly snow and ice control.

Schedule:

Class registration is from 7:30:00-8:00am.  The class will begin at 8:00am.  Lunch will not be provided.  We should adjourn around 5:00pm.

The conference will be at the Hyatt Regency Greenville. You may reserve your room online, click here. Guests may also call 888-421-1442 and ask for the SC APWA Conference room rate. Room reservation deadline is July 7, 2016.

Course Fee:

The registration fee for the workshop is $99.00 per person.  The fee includes course materials, certification card, and break refreshments.

Advanced registration is encouraged so that an accurate estimate of the number of class participants can be obtained. Classes with low advanced registration will be subject to cancellation.

Payment Policy:

Payment must be received no later than 5 business days prior to the workshop.  If your registration payment is not received by then, you will not be guaranteed your slot in the class.

Cancellation Policy:

If you cancel your registration more than 72 hours before a class, your registration fee will be refunded, less a $35 processing fee. If you do not cancel before the 72 hour deadline your registration fee will not be refunded. You may send a substitute in your place, provided that you inform us of the substitute’s name no later than 24 hours before the training.  No-shows will not have their registration fee refunded.

UPDATED 2/15/23 – The Transportation Technology Transfer Service now accepts Electronic Check (ACH) payments in addition to credit card payments. While credit card payments are still the preferred payment method, you now have the Electronic Check (ACH) option. Your payment must be received within 5 business days of your registration. If your registration payment is not received by then, you will not be guaranteed registration for the conference.
