Schedule

The training will run from 8:00am – 4:00pm. The morning portion of each day is in-classroom and the afternoon portion is hands-on.

Course Fee

Due to the hands-on nature of this course, the class is limited to 10 individuals. Experience shows that quality of this workshop is compromised when it exceeds 10 participants; therefore, we strictly adhere to no more than 10 participants per class. The cost of training 10 individuals is $1750. This fee includes the instructor fee, instructor travel, meals, and accommodations as well as all training materials, morning and afternoon refreshments, and lunch. This fee represents the LTAP scholarship eligible to all South Carolina city, county, or state employees saving your agency over $750 for every 10 trained employees.

Agency must provide:

  • a training location set-up with tables and chairs for each attendee
  • the heavy equipment machine for hands-on training
  • an opportunity to perform an operational and safety inspection on the equipment the day prior to training
  • a training site that is secure and safe to set up equipment to perform hands-on training opportunities
  • a day of contact to coordinate opening the training location, registration, and lunch set-up
